It's an ok hotel but nothing more.
Expensive WiFi connection. Remote location. Substandard windows that don't close properly. Worn out building structure.

Room size, decor and especially the comfort of the bed were excellent. Cleaning staff were also efficient and very friendly.
The swimming pool is out of use. As a couple, we were carrying a mobile email device each. Reception would only allow us a code to activate one by free wifi.

It was just an optimal selection for a brief pause in Kathmandu with definitely value for money. The food was luscious, especially the Indian dishes. Consider trying the spa for some relaxation after a busy day.

Bed are also not good enough to sleep. Hotel Management had combined 2 beds and make it one to sleep for me and my family, there was a gap b/w the bed to sleep comforably.Hotels rates are equivalent to Europe & Middle east but the features / decorations were of 10/15 years OLD.......Even televisions are also also very bad and nothing visible.....looks like operated by Local Cable operators.............Room cleaninees was also not so good to appriciate......OVERALL Waste of money.......

The Everest hotel has a nice chinese restaurant on the top floor
The hotel is advertised as 5 star hotel (and priced accordingly). However, the facilities of the hotel are not good enough for 5 star standards. The room facilities are average, especially the bathroom is not equipped well and quite smelly

We enjoyed exploring some local sites, and our rooms were spacious and clean. The food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We appreciated the proximity to attractions and the comfy vibe of the place. Just heads up, the in-house shop can be pricey!
One downside was that the hotel should work on their professionalism. We had to switch rooms daily for our event, a bit inconvenient.

Newly decorated room and good bed. Impeccable service, parking on-site.

Thank you for a very good stay. The venue is well-maintained, neat and the location is practical and decent right by city center in Kathmandu, entire Kathmandu valley, and nepal, restaurants, night life. The breakfasts are generous in the hotel, with Asian tastes and freshly made egg, as example.
